The design
of a building, its layout, standard of environmental
services and specification of internal and external
finishes all have a major effect on the way an
organisation operates and adapts to change, and the cost
it incurs.
We look at
building design from the user's point of view as well as
the external appearance. We advise on the suitability of
a prospective building, the quality of space and
environmental services, cost-in-use and how a building
will respond to organisational and technological
change.
We also
design new buildings and upgrade existing buildings.
Recent projects have included the renovation of a fully
occupied 1960s office building, the internal
refurbishment of a headquarters complex in Belgium and a
proposed atrium office building in Plymouth.
